Taking Care of the Caretakers

We take care of our teachers as they take care of your children. Our teachers are provided with continuing education, classroom support, on-site managers, curriculum development, and emotional support.

Our educated and experienced teachers receive a compensation package including a variety of health and dental benefits, paid time-off, daily meals, paid holidays, and cost-of-living pay increases.

Teacher retention is demonstrated by their happiness, enjoyment, and appreciation of their environment.

Assessing Progression

Assessment methods used by our teachers measure all aspects of early childhood development. Cognitive skills such as language, social/emotional, and physical, are measured, as well as subject-specific areas of early reading, math, and science. Daily interactions with your child allow teachers to develop performance baselines to adapt and improve the curriculum to each child’s needs.

A consistent schedule of communication and assessment enables teachers to recognize developmental and learning challenges.

Health & Safety

The safety of children and staff is integral to a program’s success. Jack & Jill promises to maintain a clean and safe environment for all who are a part of it. Each member of our staff is trained in CPR and pediatric first aid. Our buildings are secured with a key-pad entry, daily sign-in requirement, parent/guardian identification policy, stringent alternate child pick-up policy, and areas are monitored by cameras.

Sanitation

Staff members are trained in proper sanitary procedures for toys, cribs, mattresses, sheets, blankets, and equipment. Additionally, a public health nurse visits the center on a monthly basis to ensure the highest standards of sanitation are met.

To minimize the chances of illnesses spreading, our curriculum teaches proper hand washing and sanitation practices with all children.

Medical & Emergency Preparedness

Our programs are peanut and tree-nut restricted. Our staff work closely with families to implement allergy and asthma care plans.

Monthly fire drills and seasonal tornado drills are practiced. Emergency preparedness for evacuation and parent notification protocols are followed.
