Priority registration is now open for current and past JJ’s Jam and Jack and Jill families.
If you are a new family, please submit your registration and it will be reviewed for processing mid-March.
Registration & Weekly Attendance
We offer flexible registration and scheduling to fit your child’s busy summer.
In order to keep our costs as competitive as possible, we have chosen to partner with Permission Click, an online registration platform. Permission Click offers the ease of online registration while keeping administrative costs low.
Once you arrive at the registration page, you will have a chance to download and review the finer details of the registration process before proceeding. Next, you will be asked for your parent information and your child’s name. Click “I give permission” and then proceed to complete additional parent information and confirm deposits required.
The next page is for information about your child, and your actual registration. Proceed through the registration page choosing the days that your child will attend. Please confirm your child’s registration before submitting as JJ’s Jam will prepare a deposit invoice accordingly.
Upon completion of your registration, you will receive a confirmation email from Permission Click indicating your registration has been submitted. This is NOT a confirmation of enrollment. Upon receipt, JJ’s Jam will contact you via email to confirm registration and collect a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $50.00 per camp registration. Registration is not confirmed until deposits are paid in full.
Day Camp tuition is only charged for the registered attended days for the summer. If your child is not registered to attend all days/weeks of the JJ’s Jam Summer Camps tuition will not be charged for those days/weeks. If you enroll for a camp and do not attend, full payment is required.
Check, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover are all accepted payment methods. Payments for online registration must include a $50.00 deposit per child per camp for registration to be complete. If a camp is full, you will be given the option to be put on a wait list. No fee is charged at the time of wait list placement.
Registration Paperwork & Waivers Required
Because JJ’s Jam is a fully licensed and regulated program by the MN Department of Human Services, all children enrolled are required to have current paperwork per the guidelines of MN DHS Rule 3 for Child Care Centers. Children who have attended JJ’s Jam Summer Camp in the past will be required to update select forms as applicable to bring their file current.
All currently enrolled Jack and Jill Pre-Kindergarten Children and all newly enrolled children will be required to complete a full set of enrollment paperwork to participate in JJ’s Jam Summer Camp.
All enrolled children must have current paperwork completed and on file no less than five business days before their first day of JJ’s Jam Summer Camp or enrollment will be canceled and deposits will be retained.
Additional waivers may be required for some field trips, such as Three Rivers Park System, Conquer Ninja Gym, Urban Air Trampoline Park and others. These will be sent to families via email with registration forms.
Camps are scheduled weekly, allowing families to register for less than 5 days per week and pay a daily, 3-day, 4-day or full week rate. Families may select any number of weeks throughout the summer. Small group sizes for each week allows JJ’s Jam staff the opportunity to allow each camper to have a great experience.
Hours are from 6:30am to 6:00pm at Blaine and 7:00am to 6:00pm at St. Anthony. Breakfast by 8:30am daily at both sites.
Drop Off and Pick Up
Arrive by 8:00am for breakfast and 8:30am for off-site field trips. Most field trips return by 3:30pm daily. Weekly newsletter will specify early departure times before 8:30am and return after 3:30 pm as the schedule permits. Off-site early pick-up arrangements must be made in advance by contacting the JJ’s Jam site Director at each location. Email request may be sent to email@example.com. Please note that we are a busy summer program on-the-go! Please plan to arrive on time daily per the weekly field trip newsletter departure time. Kids arriving late may miss field trips and will be unable to attend the day’s activities. Field trips and busing cannot be compromised due to tardiness of arrival time.
Field Trip Program Cancellation or Change
Field trips may be altered or re-routed due to inclement weather or facility and/or vendor change. JJ’s Jam will do its best to reset the planned event within the camp week. No refund is given for a reset or canceled field trip.
Sign In and Out Daily
Alphabetical sign-in rosters by last name will be available for the parent or guardian to sign the child in and out daily. An alternate authorized pick-up form must be presented in advance and the alternate adult pick-up must show photo ID.
We walk, hike, take the small JJ’s Jam buses and ride on traditional school buses contracted through Voigt Bus Company.
Sunscreen and Staying Hydrated
We are outside daily in the summer and most of our activities and field trips take place outside. Your child must have his or her own non-spray Sunscreen to apply throughout the day. We ask that all kids pre-apply morning sunscreen before attending the program and have adequate sunscreen to apply throughout the day.
Daily water bottles are a necessity and need to be stored in the child’s locker daily for licensing purposes. Both items should be labeled with the child’s first name and first initial of the last name.
T-Shirts, Backpack & Water Bottle
Each child will receive a JJ’s Jam T-Shirt, Backpack and Water Bottle for their personal use. We ask that the backpacks be used daily to carry their water bottle, sunscreen, swim gear, etc. JJ’s Jam will provide colored T-Shirts for the kids to wear off-site for all field trips and will be laundered on site.
Safety and Behavior
Staff work together with your child to keep a safe and fun program for all. Your child will be expected to follow rules of safety and respect. Parents need to be familiar with the behavior guidelines in the Parent Handbook. In the event behaviors or incidents rise to a consistent, or inappropriate level, it may be cause for removal of the day’s events and program.
Allergies, Medications, and Illnesses
Parents need to be familiar with allergy, medication, and illness guidelines in the Parent Handbook.
If your child has any allergies, seizures, asthma, medical conditions, or has medication that may need to be administered at the program, additional forms from your pediatrician may be required. If required, these must be reviewed by administration a minimum of two weeks before your child’s start date. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if your child has any of the above listed circumstances.
